ChristCare Ministries

ChristCare gives St. Mark a step-by-step approach to training small group leaders and organizing a highly effective network of small groups in our congregation.

ChristCare Groups are gatherings of 5-12 people who meet regularly to:

  • Care for and support one another
  • Study God's Word together
  • Have opportunity for more informal worship.
  • Find ways to reach out to others with God's love in missional service

Why does St. Mark have ChristCare small groups in our church?
People can sometimes feel lost. This is especially true in today's society where many people have lost the closeness, community, and sense of family found in the church a generation ago. ChristCare groups provide a means for people to:

  • Feel connected with one another.
  • Feel connected with St. Mark the Evangelist Lutheran Church.
  • Feel connected with Jesus Christ.

If you are interested in joining a ChristCare small group, or becoming a Leader of a small group, please see Pastor Speerbrecker, Amy Nelson, or Ellie Kath for more information.
