Adult Ministry Groups

PEACE - BY - PIECE
This quilt group meets every 3rd  Monday of each month @ 12:30PM. Interested? Contact St. Mark to connect you with Cheryl Knutson! 
MARTHA'S KITCHEN
Ladies that make food and serve luncheons for funerals and other church functions.
CHOIR
Practices are every Wednesday night from 7-8:30pm.
ALTAR GUILD
The purpose of the Altar Guild is to serve. This group makes sure the place of worship is maintained and set up for the times and seasons of the church year. This group also prepares for communion for the people of God and sees that all preparations are made for each service and whatever needs to be done after the service. Currently, we have 15 members and four substitutes. We're currently looking for two people to volunteer as Co-chairs. If you are interested, contact the church office.

OLD GEEZERS

Old Geezers do jobs around the church yard/property to keep St. Mark looking it's best. 
MEDIA OPERATORS
We really need more volunteers to be Media Operators at our Blended Services. There is a sign-up sheet on the table outside of Pastor's Study. IF you have any questions please contact St. Mark to connect you with Dave Schneider.

WOMEN'S "BIBLE BUSTERS" 
Bible Busters meets the 2nd and 4th Thursdays from 1-3PM at a members home. Join us for a lively study, good desserts, and laughter. Please contact St. Mark to connect you to Carolyn Mish for more information.  

ADULT INFORMATION CLASS (Spring Session)

We're forming a new adult membership class. It will start Sunday, January 17th, at 10:15AM. Whether you have questions about Christ or want to deepen your faith in Him, this class will do both those things. It will explore what the Bible says about our God, and how His love gives direction and meaning to your life today and forever. This class is designed for those who are interested in learning or reviewing the foundations of the Christian Faith. Attendance at the class may lead to membership in our church , but no obligations. Child-care is provided. The Curriculum is called- GodConnects is a video series explaining the Christian faith in a way that makes it easy to invite a friend, family member, or church visitor. Plain language and helpful illustrations present God’s work of salvation in a concise manner. This series is ideal for those with questions about sin, judgment, redemption, Jesus, the believer’s life, and more. GodConnects—an excellent resource for amplifying and sharing key concepts of the Christian faith. Who has God put in your life that needs to hear His message?  Invite them to the class and come with them.  Contact Pastor Paul or St. Mark to sign up.

Author Jonathan Fisk calls them to the seven "counterfeit Christian rules that every Christian ought to break as often as possible." because they are seven myths that have infiltrated the churches in our age, seven teachings taught as if they were doctrine, but which are nothing more than the traditions of men.

Materials are provided. It is informal and there is no cost or obligation for taking it. If you're interested please contact Pastor Paul @ Church  to schedule a class. Classes can still be scheduled for this Spring.
